E.P.A. vs. F.D.A. re: Mercury Levels in Fish & Human Consumption
There is a controversy raging between two U.S. Government Agencies that are charged with protecting American citizens’ health. The Environmental Protection Agency (E.P.A.) has just released strict guidelines on how much mercury is currently found in many varieties of fish and what amounts of particular seafoods are now considered safe for weekly consumption. The Food and Drug Administration (F.D.A.) has more relaxed official health guidelines that are being called into question by the E.P.A.
